Atiku describes Jonathan’s policies as anti- people

The former Vice-President,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has
condemned the federal government under the
leadership of Dr Goodluck Jonathan for implementing
policies that do no not have direct benefit on the
average Nigerians and his inability to bail the country
out of the menace of Boko Haram insurgents
Abubakar who is the presidential aspirant under the
platform of All Progressive Congress (APC),noted that
most of the policies being implemented by Jonathan
was bringing untold hardship on the people.
The APC chieftain said Nigeria under the President
Jonathan was seriously sick and that the country
needed a surgical operation.
Abubakar at Ire Ekiti weekend during the
commissioning of the multi-million naira 32-bed
hospital built by Hon Bimbo Daramola , a member
representing Oye, Ikole Federal Constituency in the
House of Representatives, urging all Nigerians to come
to and effect a change in the leadership of the country
by voting Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) out in the
next year’s general election.
“Certainly, Nigeria is not healthy. When you look at the
economy and insecurity in the country, you will know
that certainly, Nigeria is not healthy.
“The only thing that can salvage Nigeria’s situation is
to seize the opportunity to bring about a change by
voting in APC.”
Abubakar further described the calls for the removal of
the Speaker ,House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu
Tambuwal from his position as “irresponsible”
Speaking at the hospital The Joan Taiwo Daramola
Memorial Hospital at Ire-Ekiti, the APC chieftain
commended the lawmaker for embarking on the
gigantic project in assisting the people of his
community, saying himself and Daramola shared the
same character of dropping from their savings to assist
the less privileged in the society.
The hospital which has all its equipments and facilities
is to be managed by the Anglican Church of Nigeria
The lawmaker said he built the hospital as a way of
giving back to the people who had entrusted him with
their mandate in the House of Representatives.
He urged the people of the state not to compromise
their well cherish honor and integrity for a bag of
rice,or money
“I believe the people of Ekiti surely don’t need stomach
infrastructure. Would you forego education for stomach
infrastructure? Would you forego healthcare for
stomach infrastructure? Would you forgo infrastructural
development for stomach infrastructure? “Today Japan
is the third economy in the world.
They don’t have the farmland that you have in Ekiti but
they have education and technology.
Anybody who is telling you all you need is a bag of
rice; no. No, Ekiti people.”
He said without free education that he would not be
opportuned of joining others in ruling the country of
assisting the people.
The three former governors of the state ,Otunba Adeniyi
Adebayo ,Engr Segun Oni,Dr Kayode Fayemi and the
Speaker,House of Representatives,Alhaji Aminu
Tambuwal commended the initiative of Hon Daramola
